Preventative health care plans, to suit your needs and budget!

We understand how important preventative healthcare is to your horse or pony

​

We all know that keeping up to date with preventative healthcare for our animals will reduce problems in the future. Our healthcare plans make looking after your horse’s health hassle-free and more economic, whilst still ensuring your horse has access to top quality veterinary care.

Join our Equine Health Club today and let us look after your horse’s preventative healthcare needs.

However, young or old your horse, an Equine Health Plan is designed to adapt to your horse’s needs, from foal to adulthood and throughout its senior years. The plans include the regular things – vaccinations, WECs, routine dentistry, health checks (lameness/ophthalmic exams) and advice in an easy monthly payment plan - the things that insurance generally doesn’t cover.

 

The health check includes: 

Listening to the heart and lungs

Ophthalmic examination

Body condition scoring and discussion of weight

Checking for any lumps and bumps

Lameness examination including walk and trot up

Any further tests deemed necessary will be discussed at the time (fees apply separately)

Dental gagged exam, routine rasping, sedation if necessary and charting

We have created 3 levels of health plan to suit your specific needs-Bronze, Silver and Gold. Our practice feel there is no other “ALL INCLUSIVE” health plan that covers ALL aspects of preventative healthcare with no hidden additional costs, and we are proud to offer such a service to our clients at Kent Equine Hospital. Our Gold plan is perfect for horses with pre-existing conditions, the older horse (15yrs and over) or if you just want that bit extra from your healthcare plan.

Please be aware, that all plans are subject to a £30 administration set up fee. Upon signing up to your selected plan, three months worth of payments will be taken in advance so that you can benefit from using the whole plan from the day you sign up. ​
