Equine Emergency Vets
We currently have a vacancy for TWO Out of Hours, Emergency Equine Vets.
2 Equine vets are required to join a fantastic team of 7 vets based on the North Downs in Kent, just an hour from London.
These are new unique roles that we have been considering for a long time. This special role allows you to have great work-life balance working one week in four, followed by three weeks off. The role involves covering the out of hours service from 4.30pm Friday to 8am the following Friday. You will be fully supported by an experienced hospital team of RVN/SVN, intern veterinary surgeon and on call hospital clinician/surgeon, ensuring all-encompassing care and exceptional customer service. Teamwork and great communication are essential to ensure good case handover.
You will also be provided with the full range of portable diagnostics including wireless DR radiography system, ultrasound and endoscopy suites, in-house laboratory and clinic with full hospital and surgical facilities.
Our brand-new purpose-built hospital, based on the beautiful North Downs in the middle of the Woodland Trust, is currently being built and we expect to move into these exciting new premises in June 2023.
You will have the opportunity to use your downtime to locum, undertake further supported certificate study or pursue your own business or hobbies, as well as supplement this role with additional daytime hours at locum rates.

Salary £30-40,000+ depending on experience and qualifications
